Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Chemist who will be primarily responsible for performing tests on construction building materials.

The role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Competent in GCMS, GC-FID, FTIR, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, IC, EDXRF, TGA, Arc Spark operation. Able to provide guidance on equipment troubleshooting and offer technical training to new hires.
  • Well trained on laboratory accreditation management system (ISO 17025:2017), capable of developing new methods and validating in-house methods.
  • Establish new capabilities for the lab based on client, project, or market demand.
  • Lead the team to deliver routine/daily tasks on time.
  • Responsible for quality assurance and maintaining SAC certification.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Minimum Degree in Chemistry with 2 years of experience.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
