Job summary

Analytical Laboratories (Singapore) Pte Ltd invites a Chemist to join our established lab in Singapore. The role involves testing, quality control, and documentation to support our broad range of chemical, microbiological, and environmental testing services.

We value attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and adherence to SOPs. Training will cover instrument calibration, waste disposal, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry or related field.
• No working experience required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures diligently.

Responsibilities

• supporting and participating in various laboratory functions, such as testing, quality control, etc.
• preparing and standardising chemical solution
• maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments
• providing clear and timely communication on technical matters and operation issues to manager
• drafting, reviewing and maintaining operating procedures for laboratory equipment and processes
• ensuring that all testing are conducted in accordance with the company and customer requirements
• ensuring proper disposal of waste in accordance with the company procedures
• maintaining good housekeeping practices and general cleanliness of the laboratory
• performing other tasks as and when required by management.

With over seven decades of experience, we specialize in a broad range of chemical, microbiological, and environmental testing and sampling services.

Role Descriptions

As a chemist, you will be responsible for:

• supporting and participating in various laboratory functions, such as testing, quality control, etc.
• preparing and standardising chemical solution
• maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments
• providing clear and timely communication on technical matters and operation issues to manager
• drafting, reviewing and maintaining operating procedures for laboratory equipment and processes
• ensuring that all testing are conducted in accordance with the company and customer requirements
• ensuring proper disposal of waste in accordance with the company procedures
• maintaining good housekeeping practices and general cleanliness of the laboratory
• performing other tasks as and when required by management.

Qualification and Experience

• At least Diploma in Chemistry or related field
• No working experience required

Advanced Requirements

• Laboratory Skills and Analytical Skills

Salary and Other Perks

• Basic Salary: S$ 2,500 to S$ 3,500
• Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
