Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/HS education or commensurate work experience.
• Typically 6-8 years of related work experience, preferably in operating analytical instruments/equipment, chemical laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leads material and component analysis using standard chemical and lab instrumentation for R&D, product development and manufacturing.
• Troubleshoots errors, performs complex equipment repairs, and conducts preventive maintenance across a diverse range of machinery.
• Maintains analytical equipment with precision, generating detailed statistical reports for excursion management systems.
• Addresses site-specific quality assurance issues with escalation to program and quality managers.
• Oversees lab day-to-day operations, supplies, equipment maintenance, and workspace organization.
• Follows safety guidelines, completes mandatory trainings, and adheres to strict safety protocols.
• Collaborates to standardize processes and implement global improvements.
• Maintains data confidentiality and supports execution of business processes with independent judgement.
• Completes process-oriented assignments, shares technical information, and supports department-level plans.
• Identifies and solves varied problems with forward planning and minimal supervision.
