Job summary

Alcon, a global leader in eye care, seeks a Technician II to join the Chemical Production Department at the Tuas Plant. You will perform routine and non-routine chemical production processes, including lens formulation materials and in-package saline solutions, ensuring quality and compliance.

You will manage calibration, documentation, inventory, and training, support process improvements to boost efficiency, and uphold HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent in a chemical-related field.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift heavy weights.
• Forklift licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical production processes.
• Maintain calibration, documentation, inventory and maintenance.
• Ensure SOP training and data integrity compliance.
• Participate in projects to improve process efficiency or reduce costs.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environment guidelines and report hazards.
• Handle chemicals and waste safely and responsibly.
• Support DI program implementation at the site.
