Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD on Jurong Island is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to operate production systems, monitor process conditions, and support loading/unloading activities. The role involves handling solutions, maintaining equipment, and assisting with repairs as part of a hands-on plant operations team.

The ideal candidate holds a NITEC or Diploma in Engineering / Chemical Process Technology and has experience in chemical manufacturing or related sectors.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Engineering / Chemical Process Technology is required.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, oil & gas or storage terminals is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a 12-hour rotating shift environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment within production systems and monitor process conditions.
• Prepare solutions and monitor measuring instruments and equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading operations.
• Carry out cleaning, maintenance and minor repair works.
• Support the maintenance team during plant repair activities.
• Participate in emergency response activities.
• Ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNICIAN | UP TO $3,800 BASIC + $1,255 ALLOWANCES | JURONG ISLAND

Location: Jurong Island

Basic Salary: $2,200 - $3,800/month

Fixed Shift Allowance: $1,005/month

Site Allowance: $250/month

1 month AWS + 2-3 months Variable Bonus

12-hour rotating shifts | 8am - 8pm

4,3,3,4 rotating shift pattern

Salary based on experience:

• Below 5 years' experience: $2,200 - $2,800 basic
• 5+ years' experience: $2,800 - $3,800 basic
• Plus $1,005 fixed shift allowance + $250 site allowance
• AWS + 2-3 months variable bonus
