Job description

Job Title: Chemical Process Technician


$2800 - $4000

Location: Jurong Island, Singapore 627886

Transportation: Provided from Jurong East MRT

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and corporate safety, health, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Maintain the plant at optimal operating conditions to achieve production targets with minimal downtime
  • Conduct routine plant patrols and inspections to ensure operational reliability and safety.
  • Perform sampling and in-process quality control (QC) analysis.
  • Prepare master batch and sub-raw materials according to production specifications.
  • Assist the Shift Superintendent in taking timely and appropriate actions during plant emergencies.
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks on plant equipment when needed.
  • Provide operational support to other departments (e.g., Technical, Distribution, Sales) during routine operations and new product commissioning.
  • Participate as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) during plant emergencies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Job Requirements:

  • NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Process Technology or equivalent.
  • Willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to multitask in a dynamic work environment.
  • Fresh graduates from ITE or Polytechnic are welcome to apply.
