Job summary

COIM ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD seeks a chemical process operator to perform daily batch processes, operate reactors, and manage chemical handling on a 12-hour rotating shift at Jurong Island.

Key duties include adhering to SOPs, safety, GMP, and SHEQ guidelines, reporting abnormalities, and participating in shift handovers and CERT activities. Entry-level training is provided for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• ITE Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering (Chemical) or related fields.
• Relevant working experience in chemical industries.
• On-the-job training will be provided for entry level.
• Must be an effective team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily batch processes in accordance to SOP and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
• Perform equipment line-ups and operate reactors in accordance to established practices and procedures.
• Charge chemicals into reactor manually.
• Carry out drumming operations as and when required.
• Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses to Shift Superintendent/Engineer/Production Manager; take part in investigations when required.
• Adhere to Company and departmental procedures, SHEQ rules and regulations, and GMP at all times.
• Carry out scheduled housekeeping activities.
• Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
• Participate as CERT member.
