Job description

Overview: -

  • Starting Monthly Base Salary: $8000 (Depending on relevant experience) + Site Allowance + Transport Allowance + AWS + VB
  • Chemical Industry - Jurong Island
  • Transport Provided: Jurong East/Lakeside MRT
  • 5 Days (Monday to Friday), 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Your Responsibilities: -

  • Lead Safety Case-related items in accordance with MHI Regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage the budget allocated for Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Provide support during major shutdown activities to ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Arrange and monitor annual assessments such as stacks, Industrial Hygiene Monitoring (IHM), and Noise assessments.
  • Lead Environmental Aspect Identification (EAI) and Risk assessment programs for process-related modifications.
  • Conduct incident investigations, report non-conformances to authorities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Arrange and oversee external and internal training programs related to ESH, ensuring employees are trained on safety protocols and procedures.

You will need: -

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum Degree in ESH or Chemical Engineering
  • Level C WSH Certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45000, SS651 & 14000.
  • Certified in confined space assessor / WAH Assessor.
  • Certified in Biz Safe level 2.
