Job Description:

We are looking for a committed and experienced Chef specializing in North Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting authentic North Indian dishes, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a wide range of North Indian dishes such as curries, tandoori items, breads, and rice dishes.
  • Operate and maintain tandoor ovens and related kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist in menu planning, portion control, and kitchen inventory management.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal specials.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely service.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in preparing North Indian cuisine in a restaurant or professional kitchen.
  • Proficient in tandoor cooking and traditional spice preparation.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as part of a roster.
  • Good communication skills.
