Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. In charge of the daily preparation and ordering for the assigned section.

  2. Carry out given recipes and instructions with precision and speed.

  3. Ensure strict health and hygiene practices.

  4. Ensure equipment are all well maintained, and perform routine checks on equipment.

  5. Receiving of stock and stock rotation.

  6. Monitoring food portion and minimizing waste.

  7. Adhere to the schedule set by Head Chef/Manager.

  8. Following safety protocols and taking necessary precautions.

Key Requirements:

  1. Open minded and willing to learn.
  2. Good knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen preparation.
  3. Good communication skills.
  4. Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  5. Experience with Japanese/Japanese fusion food will be a bonus.
