Job summary

Hilton Singapore Orchard invites a skilled Chef de Partie to join our Italian specialty restaurant. You will work with the Sous Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, manage kitchen stations, and ensure HACCP standards are met.

We seek a candidate with 3+ years in a 5-star hotel or fine dining setting, a valid Food Hygiene certificate, and strong leadership abilities to guide junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or similar qualification in Culinary.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in a 5-star category hotel or individual restaurant with high standards.
• Minimum of 1 year as Demi Chef or equivalent position.
• Possess a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
• Must have a variety of seafood and meat processing techniques.
• Proficient with steaming, baking, braising, grilling techniques.
• Good command in verbal and written English to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for guests efficiently, economically, and hygienically as per standard recipes and procedures.
• Assist the Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to help maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
• Plan, prepare and implement high quality food and beverage products, and set-ups in all areas and in the restaurants.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene according to established standards.
• Maintain HACCP compliance within the hotel operation.
• Coordinate, organize and participate in all production pertaining to the kitchen.
• Check ingredients for menus, ensure portions, and monitor costs.
