About the role

As a Chef de Partie at Sodexo Singapore Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high-quality food preparation and presentation. In this full-time position, you will work at our Mandai Estate North Region location, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned kitchen station, managing workflow and delegating tasks to your team
  2. Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to the highest standard, in accordance with recipes and food safety regulations
  3. Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organised work environment
  4. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing your expertise and instilling a commitment to excellence
  5. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
  6. Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets all health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced commercial kitchen
  2. Proven ability to work well under pressure and manage a team effectively
  3. Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavour profiles and presentation
  4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  5. Passion for creating high-quality, innovative dishes
  6. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
