Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of food preparation and ensure food is served to the highest standard
  • Work closely and cooperate with other chefs and colleague
  • Supervision on receiving stocks and making sure stocks received were correct.
  • Ensure proper and timely maintenance of kitchen equipment and liaise with section heads if repairs are required.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen, the equipment, workstations, and the environment.
  • Carry out other relevant ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head Chef

Job Requirements

• Candidate should possess at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Western cuisines

• Completed Basic Food Hygiene course or Food Safety Course Level 1 / Other relevant Certificates (* Sponsorship of food safety course (If needed)

• Manage and maintain hygiene standards

• Well-groomed with excellent presentation skills

• Disciplined and independent

• Positive working attitude, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Team player and has a good positive attitude

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent working attitude and willing to constantly grow his/her skills

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays, 5 days’ work week

• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
