Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Chat and Voice Bot QA Specialist to join our Conversational AI team. In this non-technical role, you will evaluate the performance and quality of AI-driven chat and voice assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational understanding of conversational bots, workflows, and testing methodologies, with a passion for delivering seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI responses for coherence, relevance, tone, factual accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Assess conversation flows and user journeys for edge cases, consistency, and usability across platforms (web, mobile, IVR).
  • Apply first-principles thinking to analyze issues and propose improvements.
  • Create diverse test scenarios and prompts to validate AI performance.
  • Document bugs, inconsistencies, and improvement suggestions; collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Ensure AI responses align with user intent, brand tone, and ethical standards.
  • Assist in defining or refining evaluation frameworks for bot performance.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in chatbot/voice testing or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with first-principles thinking.
  • Experience in QA, user research, or content moderation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies (ChatGPT, Bard, Claude) and LLMs.
  • Basic knowledge of conversation design, chat/voice interfaces, and user journeys.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Curious, user-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
