Job summary

A leading maritime services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Assistant Chartering Manager/Chartering Manager. Key responsibilities include building cargo book in the Atlantic, managing stakeholder relationships, and negotiating charter parties. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an Operating firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of panamax trades.

Responsibilities

• Build the cargo book in the Atlantic and secure tonnage to cover positions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate various opportunities & negotiate and finalize charter parties.
• Manage risk exposure via FFA.
• Work closely with Operations department to ensure smooth performance of voyages.
• Study/understand new trades and ports.
• Generate and submit performance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
