A consultative firm in Singapore is seeking a Charities Field Representative to assist with charity coordination and program management. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit environments, strong research and analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. This position may start part-time under an independent contractor arrangement, with potential for full-time employment. It offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community.
Jonaron Charities Foundation (“JCF”) is a charitable foundation registered in Liechtenstein and is a spin-off from the JCF (“JF”). JF had been providing charitable funding for over 30 years to assist the less fortunate in regions where the Founder and his family have lived or engaged in business -- especially East Africa, Singapore and Malaysia. Charitable funding is provided to eligible applicants primarily in the form of Annual Grants. Grant Applications are reviewed and subject to approval by the Charities Committee and/or the Board of the Foundation.
JCF seeks confident, highly organised representatives to provide essential coordination with new and existing charity applicants in Singapore. You will be instrumental in identifying and networking with well-run charitable organisations and NGOs that meet the Foundation’s charitable giving mission and guidelines. As one of the Foundation’s Regional Representatives, you will have excellent attention to detail, strong research and communication skills, knowledge of local community humanitarian needs and priorities, understanding of local customs and regulations, and good project/program management skills. You must be able to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
You should be passionate about having a significant positive impact on underprivileged and underserved segments of society by helping us spread the word about JCF in the target region and reaching out to organisations that are a good match for our mission and funding guidelines.
The position is currently considered part-time under an independent contractor arrangement. You will be compensated on a time and materials basis and/or at a mutually agreed project rate. All reasonable actual expenses incurred on behalf of the Foundation – including significant travel expenses – will be reimbursed. However, we do not provide any medical or other insurance benefits.
The full-time option is being considered, and it would come under the employment of the Immanuel Consulting Pte Ltd Office (the salary scheme, benefits and remuneration would be worked out by the Management, as it is commensurate with the job description and market value).
