Job summary

Henkel Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic Channel Excellence Intern to gain hands-on experience across APAC. You will own the upkeep and accuracy of Power BI dashboards, refresh reports, and prepare data from Excel and internal systems while identifying automation opportunities.

You will collaborate with regional and country teams to ensure timely and accurate channel performance reporting, contributing insights that inform regional decisions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Power BI and Excel is essential.
• Python knowledge is a plus for automation tasks.
• Attention to detail and proactive communication with stakeholders required.

Responsibilities

• Extract, consolidate, clean, and maintain SSD data from multiple sources and languages.
• Support ongoing review and maintenance of key channel datasets (SAP tiering, distributor archetypes, country data).
• Refresh, monitor, and maintain Power BI dashboards and extract/validate data from Excel and internal systems.

About This Position

The Channel Excellence Intern will be exposed to hands‑on responsibility and regional exposure from day one. You’ll own the upkeep and accuracy of Power BI dashboards—refreshing reports, updating visuals, and preparing data from Excel and internal systems—while identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across APAC, contributing insights that feed into real business decisions. The team is highly supportive and approachable, providing mentorship and context when you’re proactive. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn quickly, build communication and analytical skills, and take meaningful ownership of projects early in their career.

What You'll Do

Data Management & Quality

• Extract, consolidate, clean, standardize, and maintain SSD data from multiple sources, formats, and languages across different countries.
• Ensure data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and readiness for regional reporting.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and maintaining high data quality standards.

Data Governance & Maintenance

• Support the ongoing review, cleanup, and maintenance of key channel datasets, including SAP tiering data, distributor archetype data, country performance data, and other channel-related databases.
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of regional channel management data.

Reporting & Dashboard Management

• Refresh, monitor, and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Extract, prepare, and validate data from various sources, including Excel and internal systems, to support reporting requirements.
• Work closely with regional and country teams to ensure timely submission and accurate reporting of channel performance metrics.

Channel Performance Support

• Consolidate country inputs and provide visibility for regional follow-up on key channel performance indicators, including OSG, P&G performance, rebate and incentive KPIs, distributor activities, and other Channel Excellence measures.
• Support tracking and analysis of channel performance to enable data-driven decision-making.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and optimize data management, reporting processes, and dashboard maintenance to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What makes you a good fit

• Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools (refresh dashboards, edit visualization, data modelling and etc)
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas, power query is a plus)
• Knowledge in Python (run scripts, troubleshooting)
• Responsible and detail-oriented, proactive in communications with stakeholders
