Job description

You will operate heavy equipment (Class 4 and/or Class 5) such as aerobridges, passenger steps, pushback tow tugs, to facilitate flight handling and embarkation / disembarkation of passengers at Singapore Changi Airport.

Job Description

• Drive the tractor and use various equipment to help with loading activities to airplane. This includes loading and unloading baggage / cargo into the airplane.

• Ensure all activities and use of equipment are done in a safe and accurate manner

• Connect / disconnect passenger bridge so people can get on and off the airplane

• Ensure safe and efficient flight handling operations

• Use Headset to communicate with the pilot
  

Salary & Remuneration

• Basic Salary: S$1,975+

• Variable Shift Allowance: Approximately $240 (Afternoon $12/shift, Night $20/shift)

• OT payable, AWS, Performance Bonus (up to 3 months)

• Medical benefits, annual leave, sick leave, and hospitalization leave

Requirements

• Minimum secondary school education

• Able to write and communicate in English

• Able to carry heavy stuff if required

• Comfortable with rotating shift work

• Must have valid Driver's License

Working Days & Hours

• You are required to work for 3 rotating shifts, including AM/PM and NIGHT shifts. Your work is depending on the roster, one shift is normally scheduled for 8-10 hours.

• It can either be 5 or 6 working days, but typically it is 6 days work with 1 day off (sometimes 2 days off) and 44hrs a week.

• Anything after is considered OT at 1.5x your basichourlyrate.
