We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and passionate individual to join our team as a Knowledge Management Specialist. The role involves strategizing, managing, and engaging stakeholders to enhance the organization’s knowledge management capabilities and drive change management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall Knowledge Management Strategy.
- Oversee knowledge management functions, including oral history, registry, and systems.
- Plan and execute knowledge management initiatives, record management, and related systems.
- Guide staff on records management practices and the use of related systems for collaboration and institutional knowledge building.
- Promote adoption and maturity of knowledge management within the organization.
- Advise and support business units on knowledge management matters.
- Create and review SOPs and knowledge management plans.
- Conduct audits to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Develop and disseminate oral history resources and initiatives.
- Coordinate interview sessions, including shortlisting, engagement, and preparation.
- Supervise and train volunteers involved in oral history projects.
- Organize transcription and summarization of interviews.
- Design and plan project deliverables and final presentations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Organizational Development, or related fields.
- Professional certification in Records Management, Knowledge Management, or Change Management is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in knowledge or records management.
- Experience in organizational change, stakeholder engagement, or corporate communications.
- Project management experience, especially with cross-functional teams and volunteers.
- Experience with oral history projects or heritage initiatives is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of KM frameworks, systems, and best practices.
- Ability to develop SOPs, guidelines, and conduct audits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management systems and collaboration platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, creative, and passionate about building institutional knowledge.
- Effective communication and mentoring abilities.
Location: Ghim Moh Road
Working Hours: Mon – Thurs: 8.30am – 6pm, Fri: 8.30am – 5.30pm
