Job summary

GE Aerospace in Singapore is looking for a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on engine components. The role requires at least 2 years of MRO work experience and knowledge of CAAS, EASA, and FAA regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure parts meet specifications and prevent non-conforming parts from moving through the manufacturing process. This position does not provide relocation assistance.

Job Description Summary

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections to written quality plans on incoming, in-process, and finished engine components, working closely with operations to ensure regulatory and quality compliance and to issue ARC for release of components back to service.

Role Overview

• Ensure quality of parts meets specification requirements.
• Ensure proper work clearance, correctness and completeness.
• Prevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next work station.
• Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers for evaluation, investigations, audits related activities.
• Collect data, feedback on the quality of parts inspected for the Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections, and set area management of the parts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Verify completion of all maintenance tasks.
• Issue ARC to release components back to service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Pass CAAS M10, CO2, TM1 and M15.
• 2 years relevant MRO work experience.
• Practicing certifying staff in recent 6 months.
• Knowledge of CAAS, EASA, FAA regulations.
• From C‑rating MRO company is an advantage.
