Job description

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Certification Executive to join our team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our Certification Department. This position is designed for a dynamic individual with the potential to be groomed into a future leadership role with full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities.

As part of our succession planning strategy, the successful candidate will be closely mentored and developed to eventually lead the Certification Department, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and commercial sustainability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration and coordination of certification activities, including document review, audit scheduling, and client liaison.
  • Ensure certification processes meet the relevant standards, internal policies, and accreditation requirements (e.g. ISO/IEC 17065 etc.).
  • Liaise with auditors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth certification and surveillance processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of documentation and records for audits, management reviews, and accreditation assessments.
  • Monitor performance metrics and support continuous improvement of certification procedures.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development of certification schemes.
  • Prepare reports and assist with budgeting and cost analysis for certification-related activities.
  • Participate in business development efforts to grow certification clientele.
  • Be groomed towards assuming leadership responsibilities, including managing team members, overseeing P&L for the department, and contributing to organizational strategy.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience; experience in a Certification Body or Testing, Inspection, Certification (TIC) company is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and conformity assessment processes is a plus.
  • Strong administrative, coordination, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, detail-orientation, and professionalism.
  • A strong interest in growing into a leadership and business management role.
