Job Description;

1. Student Care Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor:

  • In charge of running the overall operations of the centre.
  • Establish and maintain good relations with relevant stakeholders (School management, Parents, External parties)
  • Manage and lead a team of teachers in a school-based student care setting.
  • Continuously train and motivate Programme Staff.
  • Evaluate and constantly improve the staff classroom management skills.
  • Able to counsel students (Primary 1 - 6) with behavioural / disciplinary issues.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports for management.
  • In charge of yearly events and activities of the centre.

Job Requirements for Student Care Supervisor:

  • Candidate should possess at least Diploma.
  • Student Care related course certificates will be advantageous
  • 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • Excellent communication skills

2. KCare Supervisor:

  • You will plan and maintain the overall operations of the centre.
  • Plan and implement the weekly schedule and programme(s) for the KCare children and ensure that curriculum is delivered based on (MOE) Ministry of Education guidelines.
  • Plan and manage the staff scheduling, to ensure ratio of staff (including programme staff and support staff) to child is maintained at all times, including transition periods.
  • You are required to inform MOE Kindergarten (MK) of all activities in a timely manner and ensure KCare Centre activities complement the MK programme.
  • Be a mentor as well as a team player.
  • Build strong partnerships and rapport with the following stakeholders (Students, parents, school personnel and relevant authorities)
  • Plan outreach programmes and excursions for the children during the school holidays.
  • Conduct surveys with parents/ guardians to evaluate the services provided by the Kcare Centre on a half-yearly basis.

Job Requirements for KCare Supervisor:

  • Candidate must possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Bonus to have Diploma in Pre-School Education- Leadership (DPE-L) OR a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education- Leadership (DECCE-L).
  • Have been registered with ECDA and attained a L2 Certification.
  • Required language(s): English: Must excel in both written and verbal.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of supervisory experience in a Pre-School setting is preferred for this position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Candidates who have experience in KCare/MK supervisory roles would be advantageous.
