Centre Principal (Childcare/Infant Care)

Locations: Woodlands | Sengkang | Bukit Panjang

Are you a dynamic and passionate leader in the Early Childhood sector? We are looking for an experienced Centre Principal to lead and manage our childcare/infant care centre, ensuring a high-quality learning environment for children while fostering a collaborative and professional culture among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring compliance with ECDA regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and support educators, fostering a positive and professional work culture.
  • Manage budgeting and financial operations to ensure efficient centre management.
  • Drive the development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Develop strategic plans to promote a culture of care, trust, and continuous learning.
  • Strengthen relationships with families and community stakeholders, enhancing engagement and collaboration.
  • Uphold and model the centre’s mission, vision, and values through strong leadership.

Requirements:

L2 Certified by ECDA
Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) or equivalent
Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) for Infant Care Centres (added advantage)
Child First Aid certified
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in childcare/infant care centre management
Passionate about early childhood education and excellence in teaching
Well-versed in regulatory standards and codes of practice
