Job description

We are a charitiable organization supported by a church that runs a tuition and enrichment centre supporting low income families in the west part of Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Centre Operations

- Academic Tuition (primary and secondary) and Enrichment Programme Planning & Co-ordination for low income families

- Housekeeping & Facilities Management of the cente

- Logistics Management of the centre and all its programme

- Drive and Support both internal and external meetings with stakeholders

b) Program Development

- Understand the needs of the client and develop suitable program to meet of the clients

c) Human Resource, Admin and Finance

- Champion the full spectrum of human resource management

- Champion the application to the various governmental bodies/authorities for certification/ membership, with external auditor, company secretary & Board in statutory compliance

- Provide stewardship to the finance portfolio

d) Public Relations, Sponsorship & Volunteer Management

- Develop and maintain quality relationship with government bodies, corporations, VWO organisations, residents, parents and grassroots leaders

- Plan, monitor, review and organize the production of timely reports for the necessary stakeholders

- Spearhead fundraising effort

- Consistently recruit volunteers needed to help with the myriad of programmes

e) Team Management

- Lead, support and manage the team to meet centre objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree holder in any field

- 10 years in social work, counselling or youth and children work

- 2 to 3 years’ experience managing a team in a social service centre setting

- Heart to serve the community, especially children and youth
