FACULTY OPENINGS AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare its graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals. Successful candidates will join the Centre for Professional Communication (CPC) as part of a team of experts passionate about integrating critical thinking into teaching writing and presentation skills across higher education. They will also be involved in embedding specific writing and speaking skills into content modules across various disciplines and academic years. CPC faculty are actively engaged in industry transformation through applied research in communication and are supported with paid leave for consultancy work or industry attachment.

We prioritize candidates with a) an earned PhD or equivalent from a reputable university in applied linguistics, science communication, or related fields, and b) relevant work experience.
