Job summary

ECON Healthcare Group is seeking a Centre Coordinator responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a senior's care centre. The role involves managing staff, planning activities, ensuring client welfare, and maintaining operational efficiency. Qualifications

  • Experience in eldercare or hospitality is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to perform administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing day-to-day centre operations and supervising volunteers and part-time staff.
  • Plan shift timetables for staff and volunteers to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Organise and run health, wellness, and social activities for seniors.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and the safety and well-being of all clients.
  • Initiate and maintain case records for each senior household.
  • Establish connections with external agencies and community resources.
  • Oversee the Alert Alarm System (AAS) and provide assistance during operating hours.
  • Maintain updated records of seniors and volunteers, and prepare reports for management and funders.
  • Ensure the centre's facilities are clean, well-maintained, and conducive for activities.
  • Review and improve operational processes to meet KPIs and respond to feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma from a recognised institution; experience in eldercare or hospitality is a plus

  • Genuine interest in working with seniors, with the ability to engage, befriend, and motivate them

  • Capable of planning and facilitating diverse care programmes (e.g., art & craft, news chats, cooking therapy).

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.

  • Able to perform administrative duties and proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools.
