Centre Executive – Join 大地学堂 and Inspire a Love for Chinese!

Are you passionate about Chinese language and culture? Do you enjoy engaging with parents, students, and the wider community? 大地学堂, is looking for a Centre Executive to help us grow, organise enriching programmes, and create an engaging learning environment for both children and adults!

Key Responsibilities:

Enrollment & Outreach

  • Promote and manage student enrollment for both children’s and adult Chinese language and cultural programmes.
  • Engage with parents, adult learners, and the community to introduce suitable classes.
  • Build strong relationships with families and adult learners to encourage continued participation and retention.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Handle general administrative tasks to ensure smooth centre operations.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and enquiries.

Class & Teacher Scheduling

  • Plan and coordinate class schedules for children’s and adult programmes.
  • Manage teachers’ rosters to ensure classes are well-staffed.

Finance & Invoicing

  • Handle billing, invoicing, and issuing receipts for all programmes.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and accurate financial records.

Programme Development & Community Engagement

  • Propose new classes and activities to promote Chinese language and culture for all age groups.
  • Coordinate community-based programmes, collaborating with external partners and organizations to expand cultural offerings.
  • Organize cultural events, workshops, and holiday camps for both children and adults, supporting 大地学堂’s mission to foster a love for Chinese language and traditions.

Centre Maintenance & Environment

  • Ensure the centre is clean, organized, and welcoming for students, parents, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with vendors or staff for centre maintenance and upkeep.

Work Schedule

  • 1pm to 9.30pm on 3 weekdays
What We’re Looking For:

Someone who is passionate about Chinese education and culture. A well-organized multi-tasker who can juggle outreach, admin, and operations. A proactive team player who can propose fresh ideas for both children’s and adult programmes. Able to commit to a schedule that includes weekends. Experience in education centres, programme coordination, or administration is a plus!
