Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Centre Director of our flagship early childhood education centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and educational quality in alignment with the education group’s values and long-term vision. This role combines business acumen with a passion for early learning and child development, making it a perfect fit for a dynamic and hands-on education leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Oversee the full spectrum of centre operations including administration, enrolment, parent engagement, and financial management
- Develop and implement centre-level business strategies in line with group objectives
- Monitor KPIs and drive sustainable revenue growth and profitability
Curriculum & Teaching Quality
- Lead the development and enhancement of the early childhood curriculum
- Ensure compliance with local licensing requirements and educational standards
- Work closely with curriculum consultants and teaching staff to maintain programme integrity and innovation
Team Management & Professional Development
- Recruit, train, and retain high-quality teaching and support staff
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages continuous improvement
- Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities
Marketing, Branding & Stakeholder Relations
- Spearhead local marketing initiatives to grow enrolment
- Build strong relationships with parents and community partners
- Represent the centre at industry events and public engagements as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least 10 years of management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role in early childhood education or a related service industry
- Proven track record in preschool/education centre operations, revenue growth, and team leadership
- Familiarity with Singapore’s ECDA framework and early childhood regulations is preferred
- Strong business mindset with the ability to manage budgets and performance metrics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Mandarin an added advantage)
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Management, or related fields. MBA preferred
