Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/Math/Finance or related field preferred.
• Internship in trade operations, trade support, data engineering, or trading development is an advantage.
• Strong Python programming and data analytics skills.
• Solid understanding of financial markets and electronic/algorithmic trading.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a live trading environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more markets and oversee live strategy execution and health.
• Open strategies at open, track state/PNL, and close positions for next session.
• Act as first line of defense for alerts, outages, and broker issues; diagnose and hand off root causes.
• Build and enhance real-time monitoring and safety tooling for live/post-trade environments.
• Design checks to detect abnormal order flow, position and PnL moves and surface them promptly.
• Work with live data from trading systems and brokers; productionize tooling on the desk.
• Communicate incidents and resolutions clearly across cross-functional teams.
