A leading aerospace company is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead a multi-generational team and optimize material deliveries in support of Engine and Module MRO operations. This role involves driving initiatives for material kitting efficiency and collaborating with various departments to enhance compliance and standards. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and have significant experience in supply chain management, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
Lead a multi-generational team to ensure timely and quality material deliveries in support of Engine and Module MRO operations.
Mange a team of 20 to optimize material flow, kitting accuracy, and operational performance across the full value stream.
Drive transformation initiatives to enhance material kitting workflows and streamline supply chain operations.
Oversee all material flow activities and ensure timely kitting in accordance with production needs.
Optimize kitting processes for accuracy, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Develop performance indicators (KPIs) for the team to track team performance
Monitor resource availability, including staffing and space, to ensure minimal operations disruptions
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production Control, Materials, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance, and HR to achieve operational goals and company’s objectives.
Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture in the team. Assume roles in EH&S sub-committees.
Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
Min 5 years of relevant experience in people management role within Supply Chain Operations.
Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and kitting operations
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
Good team player and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated and self-directed. Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen.
Able to work with all levels of management and in a fast-paced, matrix reporting organization.
Qualifications We Prefer
Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
Relevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines.
