Job summary

MP Biomedicals Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Research Scientist to design and conduct experiments focused on cell biology, cell culture, media development and protein-related applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to support research and product development.

The role requires a master's degree or higher and 3–8 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and protein techniques such as ELISA and Western blot.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related fields.
• 3–8 years of research experience in academia or industry.
• Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture including NK and T cells, MSCs, and other mammalian cell lines.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, cell imaging and cell-based assays.
• Experience with protein-related laboratory techniques (e.g., ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blot) and protein purification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and statistics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards ISO9001 and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments to address research objectives.
• Develop and optimize cell culture media and related reagents.
• Perform mammalian cell culture and maintain various cell lines.
• Design and perform cell-based assays and flow cytometry analysis.
• Conduct protein-related experiments, including protein characterization and functional evaluation.
• Stay updated on scientific advancements through literature reviews.
• Perform laboratory work, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.
• Interpret results, draw conclusions, and present findings through reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams on research and product development.
• Maintain accurate experimental records in compliance with company policies and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparing research proposals, technical documents, and publications.
• Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops.
