Job description

What the role is:

Your primary role is to support the CDCs to onboard heartland merchants and hawkers onto the CDC Vouchers Scheme. Under this national initiative, you will work closely with the merchants and hawkers, handling their queries and assisting in troubleshooting technical and operational issues. You will also handle other initiatives under the CDC Vouchers Scheme.

What you will be working on:

• Support the Community Development Councils (CDCs) and Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) to engage and outreach to heartland merchants and hawkers.
• Guide and encourage merchants and hawkers to sign up for the CDCs’ scheme and promote the Scheme on their social media platforms.
• Equip merchants and hawkers with the necessary knowledge and skills during the onboarding process for the scheme.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on IT devices for merchants, hawkers, and residents.
• Serve as a liaison for CDCs’ merchants, hawkers, and residents to handle scheme-related inquiries and feedback.
• Gather data and human interest stories from merchants, hawkers, and residents through engagements and surveys for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Collaborate with other government agencies and community partners such as merchants’ and hawkers’ associations.
