Job summary

The successful candidate will have CCNA, 3+ years of experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and hands-on Cisco routing/switching skills, along with VPN and firewall experience.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen due to government project sensitivity.
• CCNA certification.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching equipment.
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN configuration and management.
• Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, best practices, and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with VPN configuration and firewall management.
• Knowledge of network performance monitoring and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using Cisco networking equipment and technologies with precision and attention to detail
• Configure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliability across all systems
• Perform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and efficiently
• Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize network efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocation
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, VPN configurations, and security best practices
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures in a clear, organized, and transparent manner for future reference and compliance
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements while maintaining service continuity
• Conduct regular network assessments and provide analytical recommendations for system enhancements and optimization opportunities
• Respond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes, demonstrating resilience under pressure
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and innovative solutions to enhance organizational capabilities
• Participate in capacity planning initiatives and contribute to strategic network infrastructure decisions
• Support network automation projects and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency
