The Global Markets Division is responsible for Deutsche Bank's capital markets business, comprising the sales and trading of capital markets products including debt, equity, and other fixed income and currency products. Your key responsibilities:
With a clear focus on responding to client inquiries and requests on a daily basis paired with a focus on the strategic development of the eCommerce team in the region:
- Service clients on a daily basis with respect to all inquiries and requests. On-going communication with Clients, Front Office and other departments to identify and implement efficiencies.
- Identifying areas for automation and support of strategic solutions for Operations, Front Office and IT.
- Understanding disruptive / digital market evolution and their impact in the region - perform opportunity analysis and product development requirements as necessary.
- Drive and deliver initiatives to improve the team's delivery processes and methods.
- Ensure any operational change is implemented with full understanding of risks & control.
- Closely monitor progress of integration initiative through various approval steps (internal / external) as outlined in transition process.
- Drive issue resolution or options articulation around any problems or challenges that crop up in the course of execution of above initiatives.
- Process and provide ad-hoc support for requests from Clients and internal teams.
- Provide oversight and manage support teams for outsourced processes.
- Day to day responsibilities may include processing enablement requests, completing systematic approval checks on requests within SLA, coordinating digital tokens with sales and client, set up STP upon completion of onboarding of clients etc.
- During outage crisis management, ensure the coordination of outage among stakeholders including clients, sales, trading, FXIT, developers and operations management. Manage communications received directly from external or internal clients including regular updates on progress and resolution.
- Coordinating with vendors to complete tasks such as account mapping and market enablement.
- Meeting clients or vendors in person together with FX Execution Advisory to discuss about product, market development and workflow solutions.
Your skills and experience:
- 5 years of relevant experience in client services role in e-commerce or 3rd party vendor platform within FX space in a financial services organization.
- Proficient in Mandarin as this role is required to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Proven experience on FX.
- Minimum a tertiary degree in Business Finance, Economics or equivalent field.
- Proven ability in stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability in managing communication with sales team and clients.
- Proven ability in organizational/project management skills; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving.
- Feels comfortable speaking to clients on a regular basis and establishing contacts in other departments.
- Takes ownership of problems and issues and solves them.
- Proven experience in using visual skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other MS Office systems.
- Able to identify and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in tight deadlines fast-paced environment.
- Able to work as part of a virtual global teams and in a matrix organisation.
- Pro-active and able to drive regional agenda to link into global initiatives.
- Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to colleagues.

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
