Job summary

Shiok Kitchen Catering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Head of Catering to lead the Group’s Catering Division, reporting to the CEO. This role fuses commercial strategy, culinary execution, and operations to drive revenue growth and flawless event delivery.

You will manage heads of Catering Sales, Operations & Logistics, and the Culinary Team, shaping SOPs, optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a high-performance culture focused on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for the Catering Division, driving revenue and overall profitability.
• Develop and execute annual sales strategies, market expansion plans, and pricing structures for corporate, institutional, and private catering segments.
• Oversee key client relationships and major RFP/tender submissions.
• Establish SOPs to ensure seamless communication between Catering Sales, Culinary, and Operations/Logistics teams.
• Streamline the Function Order (FO) process to ensure clear handoffs from sales to kitchen and logistics.
• Mediate operational bottlenecks and resolve inter-departmental conflicts to maintain service efficiency.
• Ensure operational readiness, fleet management, and setup/teardown protocols for off-site events.
• Maintain compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations, Halal, HACCP, and WSH standards.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef/Culinary Team to develop profitable, scalable catering menus.
• Monitor food margins, portion control, and kitchen production workflows to minimize waste while maintaining quality.
• Lead and mentor department heads across Sales, Operations, and Culinary; build a cohesive, high-performance culture focused on reliability and customer satisfaction.
