Job Summary

The Category Strategy and Innovations Manager will assist in developing and implementing category and brand strategies that support long-term growth and profitability. The role involves coordinating cross-functional efforts, analyzing brand performance, and ensuring the execution of product innovations and launches. This position requires a focus on stakeholder collaboration, market analysis, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to driving sustainable category growth.

Job Description

  • Work with internal team to align brand and category goals with business objectives
  • Analyze trends, competitors, and customer behavior for opportunities
  • Provide insights for product and brand strategies
  • Collaborate with teams (Marketing, Sales, etc.) for smooth product launches
  • Monitor portfolio performance and create plans to improve or troubleshoot
  • Work with internal teams to align on category plans
  • Coordinate with external partners for category initiatives
  • Find ways to improve processes and make product development more efficient

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, brand management, or a similar role, with 2 years and above managing team in FMCG industry.
  • Comes with strong business acumen and strategic thought process.
  • Must have analytic background in consumer behavior.
  • Fluent in English for verbal and written communication.
