Category Specialists are part of the Amazon Vendor Services program, working to define and deliver high-quality results that set the industry standard. As a Category Specialist, you will support Amazon's most strategic brands across all key areas of the Fresh business. You will work with vendors supplying top brands on Amazon, acting as their main point of contact. Your priority will be to work backwards from the customer, identifying inputs to grow your brands and enhance their performance, while maintaining excellent business relationships and ensuring vendor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the relationship end-to-end with top brands
• Partner internally with functions such as in-stock management, supply chain, and marketing to define priorities and operational goals based on brand needs
• Develop joint business plans and help deliver impact for the brands you support
• Regularly audit metrics to drive quality of the vendor experience and meet targets

Focus Areas:

• Business Advice and Reporting: Provide insights based on financial analysis to identify opportunities
• Selection: Manage product launches and improve product discoverability to grow the selection
• Availability: Support process improvements to reduce costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation
• Marketing & Branding: Develop quarterly marketing plans, manage onsite placements, and campaigns for key events
• Content: Support creation of high-quality website content (product descriptions, videos)
• Customer Satisfaction: Monitor returns and implement strategies to reduce them

Additional qualifications include experience in financial analysis, retail buying, planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain management. Knowledge of SQL with business analytics experience is a plus. Preference for candidates with studies in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields.
