Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to lead the Consumer PC and Gaming category for Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of in-country category managers and owning business results, including Revenue, Margin, and Market share. This role involves handling the product portfolio and launch, supporting the sales teams in key channel partner engagement and business plan development, and overseeing the operational aspects of driving the category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive business results, including Revenue, Margin, and Market share for the Consumer PC and Gaming category.
  • Lead and manage a team of in-country category managers to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to build insights and drive strategic as well as tactical actions to achieve organization objectives.
  • Handle the end-to-end in-country product lifecycle, including product portfolio, launch strategies, price management, and post-launch performance analysis.
  • Build annual/quarterly business plans for top retailers in partnership with sales including portfolio positioning and delivering the required resources to execute the plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance to align business goals and drive synergy.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of the category, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Monitor and report on category performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance category performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in category management, product management, preferably in the PC industry.
  • Proven track record as a people manager with strong skills in leadership and building high-performance teams.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in market analysis, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.

Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field.
