Job summary

Aston Chambers is seeking a Category Manager to shape and drive the Beverage Flavours category strategy across APAC. You will work with commercial, marketing, flavour creation and applications teams to identify growth opportunities and translate market trends into flavour concepts.

Based in Singapore, you will support strategic customer projects, engaging cross-functionally and presenting insights to customers and internal teams across the region.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience within flavours, food ingredients or the broader beverage industry.
  • Experience within category management, strategic marketing, product marketing or a similar commercially focused role.
  • Good understanding of beverage applications and the flavour development process.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer trends and the ability to translate insights into commercial opportunities.
  • Experience working across Asian or APAC markets would be highly advantageous.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, applications and marketing teams.
  • Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to connect market insight with customer needs and business growth.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Based in Singapore and comfortable travelling across the APAC region as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the regional category strategy for Beverage Flavours across APAC.
  • Monitor beverage trends, consumer behaviour, customer activity and competitor developments.
  • Identify emerging growth areas, applications and flavour opportunities across key beverage categories.
  • Translate consumer and market insights into commercially relevant concepts and customer propositions.
  • Support sales teams with category expertise, market intelligence and strategic customer presentations.
  • Work closely with flavour creation, applications, and technical teams to develop customer-led innovation.
  • Help define portfolio priorities, identify gaps and support new product or flavour concept development.
  • Develop category presentations, trend reports, and market intelligence for internal and external audiences.
  • Support key customer projects and strategic account initiatives across the region.
  • Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to align category priorities and shared best practice.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, innovation sessions and relevant industry events.

The company is now looking to appoint a Category Manager to strengthen its strategic focus within Beverage Flavours across APAC.

Role

The Category Manager will be responsible for helping shape and drive the beverage category strategy across the region, combining market intelligence, consumer trends, portfolio positioning and customer insight. Working closely with commercial, marketing, flavour creation and applications teams, the successful individual will identify growth opportunities, support strategic customer projects and help translate market trends into relevant flavour concepts and commercial opportunities. This is a strategic and externally focused position suited to someone who understands both the commercial and technical dynamics of the beverage flavours market.

Key Requirements
  • Strong experience within flavours, food ingredients or the broader beverage industry
