What you'll be doing:
Fully understand the product matrix, assortment strategy, vendor capabilities, and basic product cost structure.
Support the manager with market studies, benchmark mapping, and preparation of new project and design briefs (subject to final manager approval).
Independently manage end-to-end new product development (NPD) from internal alignment meetings through to product launch.
Ensure on-time product launches and lead all cross-functional team communications related to the product launch.
Provide strong support to the manager in related tasks.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer product development, with a proven track record of successfully launching and developing products in a competitive market.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify emerging trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Basic proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to facilitate regular communication with China-based buying and design teams.
