Job summary

A local cafe focused on cat care in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage F&B operations and oversee cafe cleanliness while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is comfortable with cats, service-oriented, and has experience in F&B or animal care settings. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To manage & oversee overall F&B operation & inventories
• To upkeep cafe housekeeping, general cleanliness and hygiene
• To assist in taking care of cafe cats including grooming, feeding & cleaning
• To assist in customer service & orientation
• To assist in preparing, serving of food/beverages & cashiering
• Other ad-hoc duties required

Requirements:

• Comfortable with cats & able to recognize cat’s behaviour & handling practices
• Committed, responsible & well-spoken individual
• Proactive & detail-oriented
• Service-oriented, self-motivated & a good team player
• Must be comfortable meeting & interacting with people
• Willing to learn & pick up new skills for self-development
• Able to work 6 days weekly including weekends & public holidays
• Candidates to have at least 1 year of working experiences in vet clinics, animal shelters, cats or F&B related environment
• Food Hygiene Cert or barista/coffee skills is a bonus
