A leading aviation company in Singapore is seeking a Casual Captain to assist in the preparation and operation of airplanes. Job Responsibilities
Assist in preparation and operation of Airplanes
Ensure that the aircraft is airworthy, registered and that the required documentation is on board the
Aircraft
Conduct pre-flight inspections for all aspects of safe and successful flight – Navigation / Communication / Systems / Conditions / Deferred Defects / Restrictions / Limitations
Checks the weather and all applicable NOTAMS where available and determines fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements
Ensure that all flight planning requirements have been met
Ensure that aircrafts crew members have valid licenses, medical certificates, passport and visas as required
Ensure that the flight will not commence if a crew member is incapacitated from performing duties by any cause of injuries, sickness, fatigue or the effect of any psychoactive substance
Directs the activities of the Second in Command and ensures that all crew members understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform.
Assume the responsibility and authority over the airplane as necessary / as directed during flight
Prepare and calculate the Weight and Balance for each flight
Supervise fueling / baggage / cargo loading / ground servicing of the airplane
Maintain Navigation Manuals and Charts
Ensure the FMC database are current
Operate the aircraft per the Sands Aviation, LLC standard operating procedures, checklists and limitations
Maintain contact with Flight Attendants to ensure the safety, comfort and convenience of passengers
Communicate with ATC during all aspects of a flight
Act quickly and appropriately during environmental changes and emergencies to ensure flight and passenger safety
Update the Airplane Logbook with flight issues and events
Maintains a working knowledge of the duties and responsibilities as the Pilot in Command.
Participates in the Safety Management System.
Participates in Emergency Response Plan
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
FAA issued ATPL
Aircraft Multi-engine with instrument rating
FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
Experience
Boeing 737NG / BBJ Type Rated
Airbus A319/320 Type Rated
Minimum Total Time of 5,000 Hours
PIC (Multi) hours of 2,000 Hours
Minimum time on Aircraft type: 100 Hours
Other Prerequisites
Holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating and is type rated in the appropriate aircraft in which the pilot is to act as Pilot in Command.
Physically fit with a FAA First class Medical Certificate
Holds a valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit.
