FIDReCis an independent and impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution institution. It is the premier institution specialising in the resolution of financial disputes between consumers and financial institutions. We areexpandingand invite suitable candidates to apply for our Manager, Banking and Investments, Alternative Dispute Resolution position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle and mediate financial disputes, dealing directly with consumers and financial institutions on their disputes over the telephone, email, through face to face interviews and during mediation conferences
  • Seek to mediate a solution acceptable to both parties through mediation (Cases that are not settled may be referred to FIDReC’s Adjudicators)

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a good diploma or degree from a recognised tertiary institution and also possess the maturity, aptitude, skills and experience for mediation and dealing with disputants.
  • Relevant working experience in general mediation and/or mediation specialising in financial disputes will be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in the Banking industry or Fintech industry ( especially around e-payment services) with a good grasp of product and process knowledge or complaints handling experience will be an advantage.
  • Suitable candidates who demonstrate the required competence and commitment may be promoted to supervisory positions
