Job Title: Carpenter (Carpentry Factory)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to manufacture, assemble, and repair high-quality wooden products (e.g., furniture, cabinets, doors, and structural components) in our carpentry factory. The ideal candidate should have experience in woodworking, machinery operation, and attention to detail to meet production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Woodworking & Assembly:

Cut, shape, sand, and assemble wooden parts according to specifications.

Operate hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., routers, planers, CNC machines).

Construct and repair furniture, cabinets, doors, and other carpentry products.

Material Handling & Preparation:

Select appropriate wood types (e.g., plywood, hardwood, MDF) based on project needs.

Measure, mark, and prepare materials for cutting and assembly.

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

Make adjustments or repairs as needed.

Follow design blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions accurately.

Machine Operation & Maintenance:

Safely operate woodworking machinery (e.g., table saws, band saws, drills).

Perform basic maintenance and report equipment malfunctions.

Workshop Safety & Cleanliness:

Follow safety protocols (e.g., wearing PPE, proper tool handling).

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 2 years in a factory setting preferred).

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.

Knowledge of different wood types, joinery techniques, and finishing methods.

Physically fit (able to lift heavy materials and stand for long hours).

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous):

Experience with CNC machines or automated woodworking equipment.
