Job summary

ECOBUILD ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking skilled workers to read blueprints and translate drawings into built structures on site in Singapore. The role involves measuring and preparing materials, cutting and shaping components, and assembling frames and furniture as specified.

Candidates will also lay out floors and ceilings, install doors and stairs, inspect work areas, and maintain scaffolding and other construction elements to ensure safety and quality on every project.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Take measurements and calculate material sizes and quantities.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials per measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings.
• Lay out floors, roofs or drywall to ensure level and compatibility.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets and shelves and install them.
• Inspect sites and carry out repairs or routine maintenance.
• Erect scaffolding and other construction structures.

Job description

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements

• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
