Job summary

JKH Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking skilled carpenters to carry out carpentry, installation, repair, and renovation works at residential, commercial, and construction project sites in Singapore.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements, and operate power tools. You will install and finish wooden structures, while maintaining safety and quality on every site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of carpentry, construction, or renovation experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Experience in door installation, cabinet fitting, partition works, and furniture assembly is preferred.
• Physically fit for manual work at construction and renovation sites.
• Willing to work overtime when required, in accordance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general carpentry works, including fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, plywood, laminates, and other carpentry materials.
• Install and repair doors, door frames, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, partitions, and wooden furniture.
• Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions for accurate installation.
• Carry out renovation, fitting-out, and interior carpentry works at residential and commercial premises.
• Operate carpentry tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other workers to complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform maintenance, modification, and rectification of existing carpentry installations.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness at the worksite.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform other carpentry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

5. Able to operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely.

6. Physically fit and capable of performing manual work at construction and renovation sites.

7. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Willing to work at different project locations across Singapore.

9. Good time management skills and ability to complete assigned work within deadlines.

10. Willing to work overtime when required, in accordance with applicable employment regulations.
