Job summary

ORIENTAL EMPLOYMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled carpenter team lead for outdoor construction sites in Singapore. You will manage a team of experienced carpenters, perform measurements, and ensure accuracy in workmanship.

The role requires proficiency with routers, planers, sanders, edge banders, and post-forming machines, plus ability to read technical drawings, train new workers, and work night/split shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of local carpentry techniques.
• Ability to take site measurements accurately.
• Experience operating woodworking machinery (routers, planers, sanders, edge banders, post-forming).
• Experience leading a team of carpenters and training new members.
• Ability to read and interpret freehand woodwork drawings.
• Physically fit for outdoor environments and challenging weather.
• Willing to work night and split shifts, plus overtime when needed.
