Job summary

DMX PROJECTS is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The role involves carrying out carpentry, installation, repair and finishing works in line with drawings, project specs, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will measure, cut, shape and assemble wood and other materials, install fixtures and fittings, check dimensions and levels, and coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Construct and install fixtures, doors, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
• Install and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and workmanship to ensure accuracy.
• Carry out renovation, alteration, maintenance, and repair works as required.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Follow project schedules and complete assigned work within required deadlines.
• Comply with company policies, construction regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
