Overview

The role is part of Singapore Airlines, Cargo Division (E-commerce Logistics) based in Singapore and is responsible for obtaining new customers and fostering business relationships to increase revenue for New Business (Parxl). The ideal candidate should have experience in Account management role in the logistics industry and is experienced in selling e-commerce products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for smooth on-boarding of customers/ key accounts (i.e. including but not limited to IT integrations, operations set-up, reporting structure, etc.)
  • Regular monitoring of key customer accounts and performance to drive revenue and sales including forecast and track key account metrics
  • Explore new opportunities with existing accounts and grow revenue contribution
  • Account management and serving of customer accounts as a single point of contact (POC) and foster long-term relationships and trust with customers
  • Responsible for sales negotiations and contract renewals to achieve an outcome that maintains the relationship and cultivate revenue growth with the existing accounts
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitors to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements
  • Possess a University Bachelor\'s Degree
  • At least 1 year experience in account management and/or keen understanding of E-commerce and Logistics industry preferred
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • IT savvy
  • Able to multi-task and respond quickly and effectively to the challenges faced in a fast-paced environment
