Job summary

Singapore Airlines, within the Singapore Sales (Cargo) team of the Cargo Division, seeks a detail-oriented candidate to manage billing and rate filing in the iCargo system and ensure accurate invoicing for ULD and other shipments with exceptions.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder with interest in air cargo operations.
• Experience in accounting or billing is preferred.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data.
• Experience in air cargo sales or account servicing is beneficial.
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure billing in iCargo system is prompt and accurate.
• Investigate and resolve validation failures in iCargo so that AWB master records can be created and progress to billing.
• Amend key fields and correct validation errors for shipments.
• Handle pre-billing queries, including rate compute exceptions and rate audits.
• Ensure timely filing of spot rates for ad hoc shipments.
• Investigate rating disputes and raise CCA requests for refunds as appropriate.
• Send out class rates to agents and monitor acknowledgment receipts.
• Prepare and issue non-agent specific AWB requests for charter flights.
• Assist agent AWB requests if iCargo cannot release AWB for agent restock.
• Handle booking requests promptly and offer solutions and alternatives.

Job description

The successful candidate will be part of Singapore Sales (Cargo) team in Cargo Division. He/she will be involved in preparation of contracts, filing of rates in iCargo system and ensure correct billing for ULD shipments and other shipments with exceptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure billings in iCargo system are prompt and accurate
• Investigate and resolve validation failures in iCargo so that Airway Bill (AWB) master records can be created and progress to billing.
• Amend key fields and correct other validation errors for shipments.
• Handle pre-billing queries, including rate compute exceptions, rate mismatches, and rate audit issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of spot rates for ad hoc shipments.
• Investigate rating disputes; compile documentary evidence and raise CCA (Cargo Correction Advice) requests for refunds as appropriate.
• Send out class rates to all agents and monitor acknowledgment receipt.
• Prepare and issue non agent specific AWB requests for charter flights.
• To support agent AWB request if iCargo could not release AWB for agent restock.
• Handle booking requests promptly and able to offer solutions and alternatives.
